Beef Dishes

Kitfo (spicy)
Freshly minced, lean beef seasoned with Mitmita* and Ethiopian butter. Served raw or very rare like Steak Tartar.
Siga Wot
Beef stew cooked in Berbere** sauce and other traditional spices. Served with tomato salad and our cottage cheese made fresh daily.
Beef stew cooked in a turmeric-based sauce seasoned with other traditional spices.
Siga Tibs
Tender tip pieces of marinated beef sautéed with peppers, onions, jalapeño, a touch of rosemary and traditional spices.
Gored Gored (spicy)
Morsels of choice lean beef dipped in awaze, a traditional sauce of milled pepper thickened with honey wine, butter, and spices. Gored Gored is served raw or very rare.
Bozena Shiro (spicy)
Split peas milled together simmered in berbere sauce with cubed lean beef.
Quanta Firfir (spicy)
Strips of sun dried meat sautéed with onion, garlic, wot and special butter soaked in injera.

Poultry Dishes

Doro Wot (spicy)
Two tender chicken legs marinated in lemon juice and ginger, cooked in a homemade spicy stew, served with freshly made cottage cheese and a hardboiled egg.
Doro Tibs
Cubes of chicken breast seasoned with garlic and sautéed with onion, jalapeño, and tomato.

Vegetarian Dishes

All of our vegetarian dishes are dairy-free and vegan-friendly. Rice may be substituted for Injera as a gluten-free alternative.

Chopped collard greens steamed and tastefully heightened with garlic, jalapeño peppers, and traditional spices.
A mixed vegetable stew of string beans, carrots, tomatoes, and onions deliciously seasoned with garlic, ginger, and turmeric.
Yemisir Wot (spicy)
Red lentil splits slowly cooked in flavorful berbere sauce with red onions and a blend of traditional spices simmered to perfection.
Tikil Gomen
Lightly spiced cabbage sautéed in a mild sauce.
Ater Kik
Split peas simmered in a mild and flavorful herb sauce with turmeric.
Shiro Wot
Split peas milled together with a blend of mild spices slow cooked in a creamy sauce with garlic, tomatoes, and onion.
Vegetarian combination
A combination platter of our vegetarian dishes served with tomato salad.
